Siarhei Satsuk’s case will be considered on 23 September

It was Svi­at­lana Ban­daren­ka who sent jour­nal­ist Kat­siary­na Bary­se­vich behind bars in the high-pro­file case relat­ed to pub­lish­ing the results of the med­ical exam­i­na­tion of Raman Ban­daren­ka, an activist who was mur­dered by the law enforcers in 2020.

Siarhei Sat­suk is an inves­tiga­tive jour­nal­ist and edi­tor of the Ezhed­nevnik news out­let (ej.by).

He was detained on 8 Decem­ber 2021 and charged with bri­betak­ing, incit­ing social hatred, and offi­cial mis­con­duct. It is not known what spe­cif­ic actions served as grounds for the accu­sa­tion.
