The journalist died as a result of a serious liver disease.
In the spring, Vadzim Dounar was transferred from Ukraine to Poland, where he hoped to receive a transplant. Then the journalistic community raised the necessary funds for Vadzim’s care.
Vadzim Dounar is a Belarusian journalist who dedicated his life to covering important events. Vadzim worked for Belorusskaya Delovaya Gazeta, Belorusskaya Gazeta, Radio Racyja, Ukrainian TV channel ATR and participated in the blockade of Crimea on Chonhar checkpoint. In recent years Vadzim lived in Kyiv.
