    13:05 – 14:05: Photojournalists at risk

Photojournalists regularly put themselves at risk because of their jobs. They are easily identified, they carry heavy, often expensive equipment, and by necessity need to be close to the action, all making them particularly vulnerable. Legal restrictions such as security law, data protection law also prevent them from doing their jobs. What can be done to migrate these risks and limitations?

    Markus Pentikäinen, photojournalist, Finland
Sitara Thalia Ambrosio, freelance photojournalist, Germany
Boris Pejovic, photojournalist and board member of TUMM, Montenegro

    Facilitator: Yannis Kotsifos, ESIEMTH
