This report analyses the needs and support provided to Belarusian and Russian independent media in exile. It does this
in three key ways.
Firstly, the report highlights how the needs of the independent Belarusian and Russian media in exile compare with the support provided by civil society organisations. Secondly, the report analyses the differences across five host countries — Czechia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland — in their support of Belarusian and Russian media.
Thirdly, the report assesses how the needs and support provided have evolved over time, whilst finding current areas for
improvement.
